Man… What the fuck is this? It’s not really horrible… It’s just so… bad. It’s like listening to a dope instrumental album while a really boring teacher is giving a long ass lecture. What is the whole Jet Life thing about? What’s with his obsession with planes? Is it because he’s always high? Is that it? This beat is dope af.
This is just the most average shit I’ve ever heard. The beat’s cool, but I just can’t do this. I feel like he’s hypnotizing me with his boring music and putting me to sleep. The reverb on his voice during the hook really makes it sound even more boring. Every song is a description of a day in his life. He sounds like a guy that just wakes up, smokes weed, eats some Cheetoes and then goes to sleep. When the song is starting he literally says “uuuuhhhh eeeehhhh uuuuhh eehhh” He sounds like he’s talking in his sleep.
He sounds like the most normal person in the world. That’s really the only word to describe him. His flow doesn’t sound as lazy as the previous song, but it’s still not that good. Curren$y isn’t really bad or anything, he really just isn’t very good. The only thing I liked about this song was the beat. What rapper hasn’t made a song like this? Curren$y is just so generic. This is… Curren$y’s flow just sounds so lazy. Curren$y didn’t say anything until the 40 second mark. It took a little while for things to get going tho. It’s not crazy or anything, but it’s good. When the song first started, I didn’t think the beat was gonna be that great, but when it dropped… That shit is actually pretty dope. I already feel like I’m about to pass out and the song hasn’t even started yet.
I guess I just want to hear some good ass production. Why the fuck am I about to listen to this album? Whatever. Wait a minute… I already know that I don’t like Curren$y. His voice is too laid back and the topics he chooses to rap about really aren’t that interesting. Actually, Troy Ave and Mark Battles are more boring than him. He is probably one of the most boring rappers I’ve ever heard. Honestly, the only thing about him that I think is good is his ear for beats.
